Stay and Play During “Evenings by the Bay”

Monterey, CA…Dance your fins off this summer during Evenings by the Bay at the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. Visitors have an additional two hours until 8 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday from July 4 through Labor Day weekend to see the aquarium in a completely different light.

In addition to spending more time at favorite exhibits and communing with nocturnal ocean animals that come to life at dusk, the galleries will be filled with live musical performances – from rock n’ roll to jazz, from R&B to pop and indie artists. For Unplugged Saturdays, each week a new band will perform inside the aquarium. Each Sunday, some of the Monterey Peninsula’s most talented professional jazz musicians will set the mood.

As the sun sets over the bay, groove to the beat and beauty of jellies inside “The Jellies Experience,” unwind in front of the million gallon Open Sea exhibit or roam the aquarium with a glass of wine in hand while enjoying a mix of live music – without the daytime crowds.
