Watsonville, CA…On 12/18/2013 at approximately 5:20am.  Richard T. Cordero, 46 was in the roadway on Freedom Blvd when he was suddenly struck by a “White Vehicle” traveling southbound on Freedom Blvd. toward Watsonville. A witness described the suspect vehicle as a “White vehicle” but did not recall any additional information. Cordero sustained major injuries as a result of the collision and was transported, via CalSTAR air ambulance to Valley Medical Center. CHP Officer B. Danenhaur is investigating this collision.
