Big Sur, CA…On March 24, 2021 at about 1030 a.m. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a body located near Rat Creek and Highway 1 in Big Sur. Deputies responded and discovered the deceased body of 64 year old Nancy Lynn Algert, a resident of Templeton Ca. It appears Mrs. Algert had parked her vehicle near the construction site of the wash out on Hwy 1 near Rat Creek and got out on foot.

She apparently went around the job site fencing and had been walking around the area. At this time there does not appear to be any foul play and an autopsy is scheduled for later today.
