Former Monterey Batting Cages Owner Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

Pacific Grove, CA…Former Monterey Batting Cages owner arrested for sexual assault of boys in 1998-99 & 2005.
Monterey County District Attorney Jeannine M. Pacioni announced that the District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against David Stamm, age 58 and a resident of Pacific Grove, for committing Lewd Acts Upon a Child under the Age of Fourteen, stemming from conduct in 1998 through 1999, and in the summer of 2005. At the time, the victims were twelve and thirteen years old. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, the California Highway Patrol, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office arrested Stamm and he is currently in custody at the Monterey County Jail.

The charges are the result of an investigation commenced by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2018 by the Washington Field Office, assisted by the Pacific Grove Police Department and the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.
