Outlook

Planned Actions Firefighting personnel continue to focus on building containment lines around the fire through the removal of fire fuels, and tactical patrol around the fire perimeter. This involves both manual line construction with hand crews and mechanical line construction utilizing bulldozers. Firefighters assigned to tactical patrol will work to keep the fire within the current fire perimeter. However, very steep terrain will continue to challenge all personnel and make direct attack difficult.
Projected Incident Activity Continued hot/dry conditions. Anticipating increased fire behavior. California Interagency Incident Management Team CAIIMT Team 5 (Young) has been assigned and took command of the fire at 6:00 pm.
