Boulder Creek, CA…Pilgreen was driving a 2004 Nissan Xterra northbound on SR-9 in the area of Sequoia Road. The driver failed to maintain control of the Nissan which ran off the roadway and rolled over. The passenger in the Nissan was unrestrained and ejected from the Nissan.

Pilgreen was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for minor injuries and arrested for Felony DUI. The passenger was transported to Dominican Hospital and succumbed to injuries sustained.

This collision is still under investigation.

Fatal victim information is releasable through the Santa Cruz County Sheriff Coroner’s office.
