Davenport, CA…On April 2nd, 2017, rising tides stranded 14 people at Panther Beach leaving them with no way to exit the beach. Cal-Fire arrived on scene and rigged a raising system to haul the people to safety.
CHP helicopter H-30 respondedfrom Napa and quickly assisted in lifting several people to safety. All the stranded beach goers were safely lifted and nobody was injured.
