Alexandria, VA…Earlier this morning members of congress were practicing for an upcoming charity baseball game and came under fire. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise sustained a hip wound. Others including members of their security detail and staffers were also shot. Details may changes but at this time it is being reported that as many as 5 may have been injured.

The shooter was shot at the scene but is still alive so hopefully additional details and possibly a motive can be obtained. The shooting duration reportedly lasted approximately 10 minutes.
